The DOJoe Memorial Uphill/Downhill Race is returning to Eldora for the first time in eight years this Sunday at Noon, and we’ve worked with Eldora and local ski brands to bring you FREE all day uphill ski demos, FREE all day uphill access (on a Sunday!), and FREE uphill clinics!

• GEAR DEMOS from La Sportiva, Dynafit, and Scarpa all day long (8 AM - 3 PM) on a first come first serve basis.

• UPHILL SKI CLINICS beginning promptly at 8 AM, 9 AM, and 10 AM for all levels. Please come early! 8 AM will be the best time (lift access begins at 9am, hence it’s more crowded).
  

• DOJO CHALLENGE at 12 PM ($30 entry fee donated to CAIC), followed by awards, raffle, and party at the Timbers Lodge and Tap House.
  

• FREE UPHILL ACCESS (more details in the link) — All are welcome, whether you have an Eldora pass or Ikon Pass, or no pass at all. If you don't have a pass, Eldora will provide you with a FREE uphill day ticket!

This is the perfect opportunity for anyone who has been wanting to try the sport of uphill skiing (AT, skimo, skialp, backcountry skiing) in a safe environment with likeminded people guided by sport professionals. The Boulder SkiMo Club is born from the stoke of Davide Giardini, who combines a decade of European FIS alpine ski racing experience with 6 years of professional triathlon racing around the globe. Davide is excited to bringing the Boulder Skimo community together, growing the sport’s participation locally in particular amongst the youth, and helping foster the United States Ski Mountaineering Association (USSMA) in light of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
